Rodalies R4 and R1 lines partially resume service with shuttle trains

Rodalies de Catalunya partially restores service on the R4 (Terrassa-Manresa) and R1 (Blanes-Maçanet) lines starting this Thursday, utilizing shuttle trains and alternative buses.

The service recovery for Rodalies directly affects the R4 line, connecting Terrassa and Manresa, and the R1 line, operating between Blanes and Maçanet-Massanes (Girona). This partial reopening begins this Thursday, as reported by Europa Press.

On the R4 line, service will be provided by a shuttle train running once every hour. Despite the rail resumption, an alternative bus service will be maintained to cover the full route between Terrassa and Manresa.
Regarding the R1 line (the Maresme line), the frequency will be 90 minutes. The Government spokesperson, Paneque, calculated that 1,300 people will benefit from the recovery on the R1 and 4,600 on the R4.
