Catalan rider Toni Bou (Montesa) achieved a tight victory in the sixth round of the X-Trial World Championship held in Leeds, England, on Saturday, January 24, defeating Britain's Harry Hemingway by one point.

Toni Bou's victory in Leeds was one of the most contested of the season, as the rider from Piera was close to conceding the win against the push of young local competitor Harry Hemingway (Beta), who was celebrating his twentieth birthday on the Saturday of the event.
In the final, Hemingway started strong, dominating after the first two sections. However, a crucial mistake in the fourth section allowed Bou to regain the advantage. The Catalan finished with 10 penalty points, just one fewer than the 11 accumulated by the English rider, resisting the pressure in the final zone where he incurred two points.

Bou struggled until the last section, where he scored two penalty points, showing that the local resistance was the strongest the champion has faced this season.

The podium was completed by Basque rider Jaime Busto (Gas-Gas), who scored 17 points, surpassing Gabriel Marcelli, who finished fourth with 20 points.
With this sixth victory, Toni Bou consolidates his lead in the X-Trial World Championship standings with 115 points. Marcelli holds second place with 81 points, closely followed by Busto with 74. Hemingway is now fourth overall with 50 points.
