The Mossos d'Esquadra activated a special security operation involving anti-riot agents at the Nou Congost Pavilion in Manresa on Tuesday to coordinate the entry of about a hundred Aris Thessaloniki fans.

The operation was launched outside the pavilion before the start of the match, scheduled for 7 PM, as the Greek supporters had gathered after walking around the city throughout the day.
Police coordination was necessary to ensure that the visiting fans entered all together, coinciding with the announcement of the teams. Once inside, they occupied the upper zone of the North side, usually reserved for rival fans.

The constant presence of a team of eight Mossos agents was maintained to control the Aris fans and manage the general security of the pavilion.

Due to the influx, some Baxi Manresa supporters who were already occupying that area had to be relocated to other seats at Nou Congost. The team led by Diego Ocampo faced an Aris Thessaloniki side that, despite changes, remains highly competitive in the Eurocup and the Greek league.
