Cambrils will host on Sunday, October 25th, one of the six solidarity orienteering races organized by the College of Physiotherapists of Catalonia (CFC) to celebrate Physiotherapy Day (DiFT).

The race is part of a program of activities that will take place across Catalonia during September, October, and November. In addition to Cambrils, events are scheduled in Tremp (27/09), Terres de l'Ebre (4/10), Catalunya Central (15/11), Banyoles, and Lleida, with dates yet to be confirmed.
The Mayor of Cambrils, Oliver Klein; the Councilor for Sports, Gemma Balanyà; the Secretary of the College of Physiotherapists of Catalonia and territorial coordinator for Camp de Tarragona, Cristina Adillón, and the deputy coordinator, Tània López, presented the event. Registrations for Sunday's race are still open via the college's website.
The mayor highlighted Cambrils' commitment to promoting sports and health, while the Councilor for Sports emphasized the activity's family-friendly, leisure, and healthy habits promotion aspects.
According to the territorial coordinator, the aim is to publicize the profession and promote public health. The race is suitable for all audiences, regardless of age or physical condition, and no prior orienteering knowledge is required.
The event, organized by the Territorial Section of Camp de Tarragona of the professional college with the collaboration of the Cambrils City Council, will start at 9:15 AM in the Port area. It involves finding hidden flags in the surroundings with the help of a map. The registration fee is 5 euros and will be entirely donated to Marató de TV3, this year dedicated to neurodegenerative and neuromuscular diseases.
Teams of 3 to 5 people can complete the course walking or running and decide how many flags they wish to find. Participants who join a minimum of three races can qualify for the Final Championship. More information about the Cambrils race is available via a link on the college's website.
The College of Physiotherapists of Catalonia, with 13,500 members, defends the interests of the profession and ensures good physiotherapy practices.
The central event of DiFT 2026 was held on October 15th at the Teatre Muntaner in Barcelona with a live podcast session "Què t'ha passat?" featuring Albert Om and Joan Maria Pou.
