The work consisted of incorporating material to provide solidity and stability to the ground. To form the rolling layer, material from the milling of the works on Orquídies street was used, which a leveling machine distributed across the entire site.
The works were carried out at the end of last week, and by Monday the car park was operational again. This action allows for serving people who need to travel to the Eixample and Horta de Santa Maria neighborhoods, in the heart of Cambrils.
The car park, covering over 5,000 m², opened in the summer of 2024 and has a capacity for approximately 150 vehicles. The space is temporarily ceded by the Generalitat until the tram works begin, and it serves an area with a high concentration of vehicles.
