The third edition of TurisMarket, the professional hospitality and tourism trade fair, will be held at firaReus on March 2 and 3, gathering over 120 exhibitors and expecting 7,000 visitors.

The facilities of firaReus events will host the 3rd edition of TurisMarket, the fair for hospitality and tourism professionals in the Tarragona region. The event, which offers free access upon prior registration, aims to connect kilometer 0 service producers from Camp de Tarragona and the Terres de l'Ebre.

"The objective is to provide solutions to the needs of the sector."

Berta Cabré · President of the Business Federation of Hospitality and Tourism (FEHT)
The fair, which hopes to surpass last year's 6,000 visitors and reach 7,000, will coincide with the 8th edition of the Treballa al Turisme (Work in Tourism) conference on March 3. This meeting will bring together over 1,500 people interested in covering the nearly 2,100 vacancies offered by key companies like PortAventura World.

"There is absolute communion between the private sector, such as the FEHT and the Reus Chamber of Commerce, and the public sector, with the collaboration of the URV or administrations like the Reus City Council."

Josep Baiges · Reus Economic Promotion Councillor
In addition to the commercial aspect, students from the Faculty of Tourism and Geography at the Universitat Rovira i Virgili (URV) will be able to visit the stands and hold classes in the firaReus classrooms. Vice-Dean Jesús Angla thanked the initiative, emphasizing that it allows students to gain firsthand knowledge of their future professional reality, a professionalism that the President of the Reus Chamber of Commerce, Mario Basora, considers essential due to desesonalization.
