The highly anticipated total solar eclipse on August 12 is mobilizing the tourism sector, with Reus and various coastal spots serving as prime locations for this astronomical event.

Tourism businesses in Costa Daurada and Terres de l'Ebre are preparing for an event not seen since 1905. Proposals range from kayaking in Fangar Bay to luxury private yacht experiences. Experts suggest that the flat landscape of the Ebro Delta and the open sea will be ideal for unobstructed viewing.

"The best observation place will be the sea. Since the Delta is so flat, it is an ideal spot."

The Ministry of Science has identified free observation points in Reus, including the Burgar industrial estate and the Inmaculada neighborhood, alongside locations in Cambrils and Montbrió del Camp. This rare phenomenon will not be visible from Catalonia again until the year 2180.
