Reus Deportiu secures hard-fought draw against league leaders

Reus Deportiu earned a valuable point this Saturday after a 3-3 draw against Liceo HC at the Palau d'Esports, in a high-intensity match with multiple lead changes.

Jordi Garcia's squad faced the challenge without starting goalkeeper Càndid Ballart. Despite the absence of visiting captain Dava Torres, the match lived up to its reputation as an OK Lliga classic, watched by national coach Pere Varias.
Fran Torres 'Tombita' opened the scoring for the visitors, but Diego Rojas quickly equalized for the home side. In the second half, Marc Julià made it 2-1, though Liceo fought back with goals from César Carballeira and 'Nuno' Paiva.
In a dramatic finale, Marc Julià struck again three minutes before the end to secure the 3-3 draw. Reus now turns its focus to Thursday's WSE Champions League match against Trissino, where a win would guarantee a spot in the Final 8.
