Reus FC Reddis falls to Alcoyano but remains in play-off spots

Reus FC Reddis suffered a 0-1 defeat against CD Alcoyano this Sunday at the Estadi Municipal, though they managed to hold onto fifth place in the league.

The match was decided in the 12th minute when a corner kick from Pablo Carbonell resulted in an own goal by Ramon Folch. Despite the pressure from Marc Carrasco's side, they were unable to break through the visitors' defense.
Even after Lladó was sent off for CD Alcoyano in the 63rd minute, the home team lacked the clinical finish needed to equalize. Reus FC Reddis will look to bounce back next Sunday during their trip to face Poblera.
