The Global Padel Sports facilities in Reus are set to host the 3rd National Wheelchair Padel Open from February 20th to 22nd, featuring athletes from across the region.

The tournament schedule begins this Friday with the round of 16. Quarter-finals and consolation matches will take place on Saturday, leading up to the grand final on Sunday. The competition format has been designed to ensure every pair plays at least three matches.
Participation has grown this year to fifteen pairs, up from twelve in the previous edition. Most competitors travel from Catalonia and the Valencian Community. However, organizers noted that no female players registered for this year's event, unlike in previous years.
The event aims to boost the profile of wheelchair padel. To support this, Global Padel Sports provides free lessons and matches for people with disabilities. The official presentation concluded with a demonstration by Marc Garcia.
