The Reus City Council, through its network of civic centers, is launching the "Venim" project in February 2026 to bring socio-cultural activities closer to the city's most distant neighborhoods.

The initiative originates from the Department of Citizen Relations with the goal of strengthening social cohesion and community life, specifically targeting residents in more distant areas or those facing mobility difficulties.
The project has been closely coordinated with the neighborhood associations involved, gathering their needs and proposals. During 2026, the pilot test will be deployed in 16 neighborhoods, including Blancafort, Carrilet, Immaculada, la Pastoreta, Mas Carpa, Mas Iglesias, Mas Magrané, Monestir, Montserrat, Pelai, Sant Josep Obrer, Sol i Vista, Roserar, Urbanització Sant Joan, Santuari, and Xalets Quintana.
The activities will be itinerant, taking place in local association venues, public spaces, and municipal facilities. The program will begin on February 18, 2026, with bi-weekly sessions on weekdays, pausing during Holy Week.
Initial proposals include a seasonal cooking workshop in Mas Magrané on February 18, a circular walking tour in la Pastoreta and Carrilet on March 4, and an activity to combat the digital divide in the Sol i Vista urbanization between March and April. A creative and manual activity will be held in the Santuari neighborhood on April 1.
The full program will encompass leisure workshops, health and movement activities, cultural proposals, and digital capacity building actions, all tailored to promote well-being and community participation.
