The Reus City Council launched a plan this Tuesday, March 10, to double its free parking network, aiming to reach 1,501 spaces by 2026.

Construction has begun at Comunitat de Múrcia street, near Sant Bernat Calbó avenue. This project will provide 75 free spaces in an area that will feature improved access and new pedestrian crossings.

"With these 886 spaces, we are doubling the public park-and-ride capacity in our city. We started with 600 spaces and now we are reaching 1,501."

Sandra Guaita · Mayor of Reus
A key project is the Dyna industrial estate parking lot, offering 220 spaces this spring. Councillor Josep Baiges noted this is the first time a local industrial area will have such a facility to support business activity.
