The rail infrastructure manager Adif has suspended all train services between Catalonia and the Valencian Community this Thursday, February 19, citing safety concerns over Storm Pedro.

The closure affects Euromed and Intercity lines between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM. Authorities stated that the schedule might be further adjusted depending on weather updates provided by the national meteorological agency AEMET.
In areas such as Baix Camp and Tarragonès, wind speeds are expected to exceed 120 km/h. Consequently, Civil Protection has activated the VENTCAT emergency plan across most of Catalonia, warning of potential hazards in the Pyrenees and southern regions.

"Service disruption may vary depending on meteorological evolution."
