The death of Pascual, known for his passion for mountain biking and for being the founder of the Bicipark store in Reus, represents a great loss for the cycling community in Tarragona. He was also a promoter of several successful races, including the popular Polar Gran Fondo La Mussara.
His most notable achievement was his participation in the Titan Desert, the world's most demanding stage race. In May 2025, he had fulfilled his dream of participating for the twentieth time, earning the Titan Legend Diamond distinction for the 10,000 kilometers he cycled in the desert.
His work as director of the Kosner-Saltoki Home team allowed him to bring world-renowned figures, such as five-time Tour de France champion Miguel Induráin, to the Titan Desert.
Pascual was also instrumental in the three-person team victory at the Titan Desert in 2020, alongside Jordi Tardiu of Maspujols and Vicenç Giménez, representing Bicipark Sport of Reus.
In addition to his competitive side, he was the driving force behind the Polar Gran Fondo La Mussara, a non-competitive cycling tour that attracted up to 8,000 registered participants and featured figures like Aimar Zubeldia, Marc Coma, and football coach Luis Enrique Martínez.
