The incident occurred at the Pastoreta parking lot and was reported to the Bombers de la Generalitat (Catalan Firefighters) at 11:23 AM. When the units arrived at the scene, they confirmed that the fire had already been extinguished.

Extinguishing the fire was possible thanks to the quick reaction of the people present in the parking lot, who used the building's available extinguishers to control the flames.

The Firefighters initially mobilized five units, although two were quickly withdrawn upon confirming that the situation was under control and there was no danger. The damage was limited exclusively to the burned vehicle, and no person was injured.

The emergency operation required the temporary closure of access to the parking lot by the Mossos d'Esquadra (Catalan Police). Subsequently, a tow truck removed the affected automobile from the area.
