The Cineclub sessions will take place every Thursday at 8:30 PM at the Teatre Bartrina. As usual, some screenings will be followed by a film forum held at the entity's café theater, encouraging reflection and discussion.

The inaugural film, Blue Sun Palace (USA, 2024), directed by American filmmaker Constance Tsang, focuses on the lives of Amy and Didi, two women working in a massage parlor within the Chinese community of Queens, New York. The film addresses themes such as sisterhood, migration, and bonds created away from the homeland.

The program continues on January 22 with Anora, by Sean Baker, a story about a young prostitute in Brooklyn who impulsively marries the son of a Russian oligarch. January 29 will feature Adorable, by Norwegian director Lilja Ingolfsdottir, a family drama that will also include a post-screening discussion.

Other notable titles include Romería, by Carla Simón (February 5), and La voz de Hind, by Kaouther Ben Hania (February 26), a poignant documentary set during the Gaza conflict. The cycle concludes on March 26 with Un simple accidente, by Iranian filmmaker Jafar Panahi, reaffirming the Cineclub's commitment to contemporary and socially engaged auteur cinema.
