Joint Operation in Reus: 42 People Identified and Seven Detected in Irregular Status

The operation, carried out by the Guardia Urbana, Mossos, and National Police, focused on nine premises near the bus station.

The Reus Local Police, the Mossos d’Esquadra, and the National Police inspected nine premises near the bus station last Thursday, identifying 42 people and detecting seven irregular administrative situations.

The operation took place on Thursday afternoon, January 15, 2026, on Macià Vila and Antoni Fabra i Ribas streets, an area close to the bus station in Reus. These joint operations aim to reinforce security and prevention in areas considered sensitive.
During the inspection of the nine establishments, security forces identified a total of 42 people. Police sources confirmed that ten of these identified individuals already had prior criminal records.
Among the most notable actions, a complaint was filed for the possession of narcotic substances. Furthermore, seven people were detected to be in an irregular administrative situation, who were immediately referred to the immigration service for corresponding processing.
