The 2nd Patient Experience Week at Salut Sant Joan Reus-Baix Camp has concluded in Reus with a session focused on how patient and citizen contributions can be transformed into concrete healthcare improvement actions.

Under the motto "From commitment to action," professionals from Salut Sant Joan Reus-Baix Camp shared experiences and projects demonstrating the impact of placing people at the center of healthcare. The session, held at the Auditorium of the Hospital Universitari Sant Joan de Reus, highlighted the value of active listening and incorporating patient experiences to enhance care.
Presentations covered improvements in childbirth care, the results of the new emergency care model, and the importance of patient perspectives in clinical safety. The CORadiant Project, aimed at more humanized care in Radiation Oncology, was also introduced.
The event included activities at primary care centers, such as a community walk in Vandellòs-l'Hospitalet de l'Infant and a practical workshop in Cambrils on basic care and medication management.
The closing session reviewed the progress made and outlined future challenges, followed by a guided tour of the Hospital Universitari Sant Joan facilities.
