The signing of Jiménez arrives to fill the center forward position left vacant after the departure of Dani Homet during the winter transfer window. This marks the first professional experience for the player from Barbate in Catalonia.
The new red-and-black reinforcement, known for his mobility and physical presence, played eighteen matches this season with Ejea in Group 2 of Segunda RFEF, scoring six goals.
With a solid national career, Óscar Jiménez has accumulated over 130 matches across Tercera and Segunda RFEF, having played for clubs such as Guadalcacín, Xerez CD, Córdoba CF's reserve team, and Atlético Antoniano. He also had minutes in Primera RFEF with Córdoba.
This incorporation completes the Reus squad for the final stretch of the season, joining the previous arrivals of Kenneth Soler, Marcel Céspedes, and Lluís Estebe, and concluding the cycle of movements that included the departures of Joan Torrents, Pepo Campanera, Dani Homet, and Raúl Ronda.
