Members of the Guàrdia Urbana de Reus (Local Police) visited the Hospital Universitari Sant Joan de Reus on Three Kings' Day to deliver gifts to hospitalized children, as part of an effort to bring the Christmas spirit.

The visit, held on Tuesday, January 6, was attended by the Councilor for Security and Coexistence, Dolors Vázquez, and the Councilor for Health and Sports, Enrique Martín, who accompanied the officers during the toy delivery.
The activity was carried out strictly respecting the safety measures established due to the increase in respiratory infections. The gifts were initially placed at the Christmas tree located at the main entrance of the hospital center.
Subsequently, the officers and councilors went up to various floors to greet some of the children. Finally, the nursing staff was responsible for distributing the gifts directly to the patients.
This action is part of the project 'Portem el Nadal a Salut Sant Joan' (Bringing Christmas to Salut Sant Joan), an initiative designed to bring the magic of the holiday season to patients who must spend these dates in the hospital.
