The Social Rights department is working on a strategy to unify the processes. This approach will allow the demolition of the old structure, the construction of the new center, and the tender for the works to be managed in a "single package".
This measure is being implemented with the aim of significantly speeding up subsequent procedures, facilitating the reopening of the ICASS center, which has remained closed since the summer of 2024. Furthermore, the Minister also committed to supporting the Alcover City Council in the development of that municipality's future residence.
