The coordinated action led to the identification of over 120 people, 67 of whom had prior police records. The operation concluded with seven individuals being formally cited for various administrative infractions.
The Mossos arrested a 54-year-old man, accused of being the alleged perpetrator of theft, four counts of bank card fraud, and one attempted fraud. These incidents date back to January 14, when the victim reported the theft of her purse and the subsequent fraudulent use of her card.
Thanks to the analysis of surveillance footage from the businesses, investigators were able to identify the man, who is scheduled to appear before a judge this Saturday.
Separately, the Policia Nacional arrested two people and cited two others for violations of the immigration law. The Guàrdia Urbana processed 23 traffic complaints and immobilized two vehicles. Additionally, six people were cited for possession of narcotics and one for possession of a prohibited weapon.
As part of the same operation in the Mas Pellicer neighborhood, a commercial premises was inspected, leading to several administrative reports for detected irregularities and the seizure of 50 packets of illegal nicotine products.
