The incident took place at kilometer point 26 of the road. Following the alert, the Bombers de la Generalitat (Catalan Firefighters) activated four units which were dispatched to the accident site.
Personnel worked to remove the overturned trailer from the roadway, necessitating the complete closure of the C-12 to ensure safety and restore normal traffic flow.
Fortunately, the driver of the vehicle was unharmed, and the two horses being transported were reported to be in good condition after the incident.
