The Deltebre City Council expects to inaugurate the new rehearsal room for the Municipal Music School in the coming weeks, a project costing over 230,000 euros aimed at improving acoustic conditions.

The construction of the new room is progressing rapidly and the facility is expected to open its doors in the coming weeks. Recently, the mayor of Deltebre, Lluís Soler, visited the site accompanied by the deputy mayor of Deltebre Projecció, Francisco Castro, the president of the Societat Musical Espiga d’Or, Carlos Castanyo, and the band director, Denís Casanova.
The new room has been designed as a functional, adapted space with improved acoustic conditions, intended to meet the needs of both the Societat Musical Espiga d’Or and the Municipal Music School. The project, with a total investment exceeding 230,000 euros, will significantly improve rehearsal and usage conditions, responding to a long-standing demand from the musical entity.

"This new rehearsal room is an investment designed to improve the daily life of an entity that is part of the cultural heritage and essence of our municipality."

In this regard, the municipal government emphasized its commitment to continue providing public facilities with functional spaces adapted to the real needs of the people and entities that use them. Parallel to the construction of the new room, painting and maintenance work is also being carried out on the school facilities to ensure optimal conditions for teaching and cultural activities.
