Bons Tortosa campaign closes with an economic impact of nearly 800,000 euros

The City Council confirms a fifth edition for 2026 with a 200,000 euro budget for local trade.

The Tortosa City Council has concluded the fourth edition of Bons Tortosa with 33,692 vouchers used, generating a total business turnover of 791,664 euros for local shops.

The campaign, held from October 3 to November 2, 2025, saw a 2.24% increase in participation compared to the previous year. Mayor Mar Lleixà emphasized that every euro invested by the council returned 4.70 euros to local businesses.

"The goal of Bons Tortosa is to boost local trade. Our intention is to run the campaign again in 2026 with the same 200,000 euro budget."

Food, fashion, and footwear were the top-selling sectors. The Tortosa Chamber of Commerce aims to diversify the program in the future to include more hair salons, leisure, and catering services.
