Several municipalities in the Ebro Lands are celebrating their winter major festivals in honor of Sant Blai, highlighting the programs in La Fatarella (Terra Alta), which offers around thirty activities such as religious acts, dances, and the traditional donkey race, and the first Winter Festival in Tivissa (Ribera d'Ebre). The latter aims to strengthen the bond with local traditions, maintaining the pilgrimage and the blessing of the fruits.
The capital of Baix Ebre, Tortosa, hosts the second edition of the Tresorantic fair at the Remolins Exhibition Pavilion on February 7 and 8. The event, dedicated to antiques, has expanded its area to over 1,000 square meters to include a large exhibition of classic motorcycles and pedal cars, organized by the Moto Club Tortosa 1967.
Also in Tortosa, the Centre Cívic de Ferreries will be the setting for the concert 'Conxita Badia al cor' on February 7 at 7:30 PM. Performed by the Cor Pedrell, the show offers an emotional journey through the artistic and vital trajectory of the pianist, alternating musical formats and presenting popular melodies in unusual versions.
Simultaneously, Carnival begins to fill the streets with color. Ulldecona (Montsià) celebrates its Carnival parade and proclamation on Saturday, February 7, following the children's parade on Friday. Corbera d'Ebre (Terra Alta) proclaims the Carnestoltes King and organizes a parade, a solidarity hot chocolate event, and a costume ball. Finally, Benissanet (Ribera d'Ebre) concentrates its celebration on a single day with a musical parade and a costume contest.
