The program, unveiled outside the Consell de Riumar, blends proposals celebrating tradition, culture, nature, and the territory's unique experiences. Highlights include the Festes de l’Arròs (Rice Festivals), the Gastronomic Days of Mussel and Rice, local patron saint festivals, summer markets in Riumar, and various family entertainment options.
Music will also play a significant role with concerts by renowned artists such as Joan Rovira and Los 80 Principales. Additionally, residents can enjoy participation in the DeltaChamber Music Festival, along with outdoor activities like kayak tours, night walks, and events designed to explore the scenic and natural richness of the Ebro Delta through performing arts.
One of the most anticipated events will be the observation of the solar eclipse on August 12th, an astronomical phenomenon that will make Deltebre a prime viewing location. To mark the occasion, preparatory educational activities, including astronomical observations and talks, have been organized. Three viewing areas will be set up: the Lo Passador bridge, the Finca de Bombita, and Riumar beach.
The Councilor for Tourism Focus, Sustainability, and Beaches, Lola Casanova, emphasized that this program is part of the municipality's tourism strategy to offer authentic and sustainable experiences linked to the Delta, promoting environmental respect.
