The Diputació music schools in Reus, Tarragona, and Tortosa have opened their enrollment period for the 2026-2027 academic year, offering quality music education for children aged 5 and up.

Since April 9, interested families can formalize their pre-enrollment for the upcoming academic year at the music schools managed by the Diputació de Tarragona. This process can be completed online through each center's website or in person, by requesting an appointment, until May 11.
These centers, located in Reus, Tarragona, and Tortosa, provide accessible music education designed to foster the enjoyment of music from the very first contact. The training is aimed at children aged 5 and above, introducing them to the musical world through play and practice, and promoting creativity, sensitivity, and personal development.
Learning begins in a group format, and once instrumental practice is introduced, it is complemented by individual and collective classes. The curriculum design of the three schools takes into account the psycho-educational development of the students. Once the elementary level is completed, students have the option to continue with professional music studies at the same center where they started.
Pre-enrollment includes places for programs such as Initiation, Music 1 to 6, the Suzuki classroom, and other options like Singing, Instrument, and Workshops. For more details on the availability of places in the different courses, it is recommended to consult the centers directly.
Students at these schools not only get introduced to music and instrumental training but also prepare to access professional conservatory studies, which offer official qualifications. The three Diputació centers offer the Professional Degree, which is accessed by passing the entrance exam regulated by the Department of Education of the Generalitat de Catalunya.
