The Journalists' Association of Catalonia has announced that Ximo Rambla Manzano will receive the 2025 Micro Daurat award in Tortosa for his outstanding professional career in the Ebro region.

Rambla started his career in the 1980s at Radio Tortosa and served as the director of the weekly La Veu del Baix Ebre for nearly two decades. He later became the managing editor of L'Ebre, a position he held until August 2025, when he was appointed Chairman of the Board.
With over forty years of experience, he has worked for major outlets such as RNE, EFE Agency, and Diari de Tarragona. The award ceremony is scheduled for next April at the association's headquarters in Tortosa, where other local journalism prizes will also be presented.
