The municipality of l'Aldea will celebrate the second edition of the Artichoke Festival next Sunday, February 1st, at the Sports Pavilion, combining local gastronomy and popular culture.

The Artichoke Festival will return next Sunday, February 1, to the Sports Pavilion in l’Aldea, offering a day that combines the celebration of local produce with a family atmosphere and popular culture.
The gastronomic offer will focus on grilled artichoke but will be complemented by other traditional regional dishes, such as rice sausage (baldane), regular sausage, and country bread with aioli, highlighting the authentic flavors of Baix Ebre cuisine.

An initiative that highlights the agricultural sector, zero-kilometer products, and the gastronomic heritage of the municipality.

Beyond the culinary sphere, the day will also include traditional jota singing and dancing, as well as free children's activities throughout the day, such as workshops and bouncy castles, to ensure family participation.
The event is made possible thanks to the active collaboration of local farmers, producers, and businesses, whose involvement the l'Aldea City Council has acknowledged. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the Municipal Offices until January 30, or on the day of the celebration.
