The Mossos d'Esquadra and the Consumer Office are investigating a real estate agency in Tortosa following multiple complaints from clients who claim to have lost thousands of euros.

The dispute involves sales contracts that were never finalized. According to the signed documents, deposits were to be refunded if mortgage financing was denied. Despite providing proof of bank rejections, several victims report that the agency has failed to return their money.
While the physical office in Tortosa is currently closed, the company remains active on online property portals, listing homes for over 100,000 euros. This ongoing digital presence has sparked fears among complainants that more people could be affected while the legal process continues.
At least four criminal complaints have been filed with the police in the Baix Ebre region. Simultaneously, consumer authorities have launched a sanctioning procedure after the company ignored mediation attempts over several months.
