The Col·lectiu Cultura presented the 2026 season of the Festivals Terres de l’Ebre brand at the Tortosa Museum, an initiative that brings together 17 festivals in over 25 municipalities across the regions of Baix Ebre, Montsià, Ribera d’Ebre, and Terra Alta.

This private initiative, a pioneer in professionalizing and promoting the cultural festival sector in a non-metropolitan area, includes disciplines such as music, dance, cinema, digital arts, ephemeral architecture, and videomapping. The events are spread throughout the year, solidifying culture's role as a driver of economic and social development in the Terres de l'Ebre.
Last year's figures reinforce the model with 96,000 spectators, a direct investment of nearly 1.84 million euros in the region, the creation of over 1,800 job opportunities, and the direct hiring of 108 local professionals. Nine of the seventeen festivals have secured private funding, either through economic contributions or in-kind support. The pooling of services, such as poster printing, merchandising, and digital communication, has optimized resources and generated continuous employment within the local productive fabric.
The main addition to the season is We Love Fest, the electronic music and independent culture festival held in Amposta, which now joins the brand, enhancing the generational and stylistic diversity of the network. The brand currently boasts 17 affiliated festivals, with programming extending from March to November.
One of the most significant announcements of the day was the collaboration between Festivals Terres de l’Ebre and the Terres de l’Ebre Mental Health Board. This pioneering alliance between culture and public health will integrate emotional well-being criteria into the design and production of the festivals, from care protocols and team training to the conception of physical spaces and communication. The goal is for each festival to be an environment where mental health is treated with the same seriousness as artistic programming or logistics, positioning the brand at the forefront of responsible cultural management at a national level.
The brand is also advancing in the pooling of resources among festivals, such as tents, lighting, and infrastructure, to reduce costs and dependence on external suppliers. In terms of promotion, a multichannel strategy has been deployed, including the Terres de l’Ebre Festivals Route, published in three languages and distributed in tourist offices throughout Catalonia with the support of the Generalitat de Catalunya. The seasonal promotional video is screened at Barcelona Airport, in OCINE cinemas, and on digital platforms. New communication collaborations include the media outlet Primera Fila and U Ràdio, in addition to continued partnerships with Comunitat de Cultura TRESC and its agreement with El Diari and El Periódico. The brand also incorporates an ambassador to bring the proposal closer to young audiences across Catalonia.
The Welcome Pack is one of the most representative actions of the brand's philosophy, connecting culture, gastronomy, tourism, and local products in a single experience that highlights the territory's identity, with the participation of local producers.
