Language Councilor Pilar Caballé explained that the initiative aims to promote the use of Catalan through various administrative measures. These include linguistic requirements in public contracts, training for municipal staff, and language courses for newcomers. A public suggestion box will also be established to handle citizen feedback regarding language use.

The city will also host the Correllengua event on Sant Jordi, a symbolic relay covering 1,500 kilometers across Catalan-speaking regions. Additionally, the Marcel·lí Domingo library is celebrating Mother Language Day this Friday, honoring the late writer Manel Pérez Bonfill.
In October, specifically on the 23rd and 24th, the second edition of the Posa-hi Tu l'Accent festival will take place. Organized alongside the Dillums d'Arts al Forn collective, the event will feature a concert showcasing various Catalan dialects and accents through music and art.
