The Mayor of Tortosa, Mar Lleixà, proposed on February 14 the creation of a Council of Sages to attract local talent and international investment to the Baix Ebre region.

Speaking at the Chamber of Commerce, the Mayor emphasized the importance of recovering the 'tortosí' talent currently working worldwide. This advisory body would consist of professionals linked to the territory providing strategic proposals for the city's growth.

"We must work together from the public and private sectors to generate opportunities and grow the city sustainably."
