The municipality of L'Aldea celebrates its 2nd Artichoke Festival at the Sports Pavilion, consolidating the gastronomic event with local product tastings, popular culture, and family leisure.

The L'Aldea Sports Pavilion becomes the nerve center of the 2nd Artichoke Festival, an event aimed at highlighting the agricultural sector and the gastronomic heritage of the municipality. The L'Aldea City Council is committed to continuing this initiative that promotes the local identity.
The main offering focuses on tasting the grilled L'Aldea artichoke, the star product of the local market garden. This gastronomic proposal is complemented by traditional dishes from the cuisine of the Terres de l'Ebre, such as rice baldana, sausage, and country bread with aioli.
Beyond the culinary scope, the festival includes an important cultural aspect with the singing and dancing of jotas, a popular expression deeply rooted in the area. Furthermore, this year's edition incorporates free children's activities, such as workshops and inflatables, to ensure entertainment for the little ones throughout the day.
With the aim of facilitating access for visitors from all over and promoting close and sustainable tourism, the organization has set up a reserved area for motorhomes at the dirt field of the Unió Esportiva Aldeana. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the Municipal Offices until January 30, or on the day of the festival at the Sports Pavilion.
