The municipality of L'Ampolla is preparing to host the Carnival 2026 during the weekend of February 13 and 14, offering a wide range of activities for all ages.

The festivities will begin on Friday, February 13, in the afternoon at Plaça Catalunya with a children's pajama party, accompanied by hot chocolate and inflatables. The day will continue with musical entertainment by DJ Cristóbal, the Kin Cacau batucada, and the anticipated arrival and presentation of the Carnival King (Rei Carnestoltes), who will officially kick off the event with a popular 'baldanada' meal.
The main events will be concentrated on Saturday, February 14, starting with the gathering of the troupes (comparsas) at Plaça González Isla. Subsequently, the traditional Carnival Parade (Rua de Carnestoltes) will tour the town streets, culminating in the choreography contest at the Port Pesquer, featuring a performance by the group La Bèstia.
The celebration will move to the Casal Municipal for the popular dinner, the drawing of the Festivities representatives, and the awards ceremony. The night will conclude with a concert by the cover band EL+POP and a youth party with DJ Torralbo.
Troupes interested in participating must register at the Biblioteca Municipal before February 11. Prizes will be awarded, including 300 euros for the best float, and 150 euros each for the best choreography and the most original costume.
