The Begur Town Council has concluded the first edition of the Talent and Business day with positive results, bringing together 21 companies and nearly 50 job seekers.

Held at the Casino Cultural de Begur, the initiative aimed to facilitate direct contact between local businesses and candidates. The event was organized with support from the Baix Empordà County Council to promote local talent.
The session featured short interviews, allowing companies to explain their required profiles while participants discovered the most active sectors in the region. This direct interaction has already led to the first employment contracts being signed.

"Direct contact helps both companies and candidates. The first contracts prove the usefulness of this initiative."

Following the successful response, the local government is considering making the Talent and Business day a recurring event as part of its economic revitalization and employment promotion strategy.
