Calonge i Sant Antoni debuts new sardana for International Women's Day

Composer Monti Galdón has written a piece to be premiered during the main 8M concert in the municipality.

The Calonge i Sant Antoni Town Council will premiere the sardana Calonge i Sant Antoni pensa en lila on March 8th, a new work by composer Monti Galdón to honor women's cultural contributions.

The performance will take place at Sala Fontova, featuring La Principal del Llobregat and pianist Emma Stratton. This debut is part of a broader program titled Dones que creen, realitats que canvien, aimed at highlighting female talent in popular culture.

Other highlights include the 4th Women's March starting from Plaça de la Pau, and various cultural activities such as an EscapeBook at the Pere Caner Library and a book presentation of Caterina Albert's work.
