The situation was particularly critical during the early hours of this Saturday. Despite the confinement initially recommended by the Bombers, many residents decided to leave due to the visibility of the flames, which in some cases reached gardens and window frames of the properties.
Nearly 150 people were sheltered in the municipal pavilion, while other neighbors chose to stay on their plots trying to soak the surroundings to slow the fire's advance. The uncertainty regarding the fire's evolution has created a constant dilemma between the safety of fleeing or the desire to protect their homes.
One of the additional problems reported by those affected is the presence of electrical wiring on public roads that, according to residents, has not been disconnected. This situation poses an electrocution risk that hinders the extinguishing efforts of emergency teams and prevents access to some properties.
