Members of the Les Braves group, including L’Aironé, Anna, and Esther, shared with Ràdio Capital how they organize themselves for the Palamós Carnival 2026. Although fewer members are participating in the parade and the main tent this year, their passion remains intact thanks to an internal commission system that divides tasks such as makeup, dancing, and accessories.
“"This year we are fewer, but there is the same camaraderie and involvement as always."
Preparation for the festival never stops and begins right after the previous edition, initially focusing on the 'embalat' (main stage) performance, considered the most demanding and emblematic act. The street parade is prepared later, following their motto: “The parade is carefree, but the 'embalat' is the grand finale. We have to give it our all.”
The costume chosen for the 2026 edition is rodeo, a classic theme to which they have added their own twist with expected elements and surprises. The group positively values the theme list system used to prevent repetition among groups and ensure variety.
“"Only those who live it from within can understand it. It is like a bubble of good atmosphere, collaboration, and celebration."
Les Braves emphasize that the strength of the Palamós Carnival lies in the social bond generated throughout the year, with additional activities in April and September, a commitment they consider hard to find in other towns.
