The town of Palamós faces the most intense days of its 2026 Carnival with the Grand Parade this Saturday, February 14th, featuring numerous floats in the town center.

Following the Vesprà opening, the Baix Empordà municipality begins a busy schedule lasting until February 18th. This year's monarchs, King and Queen Perill, lead an edition that blends local traditions with massive public events.
On Thursday, the focus shifts to Catalunya Avenue for the Children's Parade, while Friday 13th starts early at 6 AM with the traditional Despertà wake-up call and a communal breakfast.
The Palamós Town Council has implemented a special mobility plan. On Saturday, access through Sant Joan will be restricted, and free parking will be available at Port Marina to accommodate the large expected crowds.
