This Monday's episode marked a historic figure for the public broadcaster, reaching a 27.1% audience share and an average of 449,000 viewers. These figures place Masferrer's show well ahead of its direct competitors, such as TVE's La Revuelta, which stood at 8.6%, or Antena 3's El Hormiguero, with 7%.
During his stay in Begur, the presenter met the so-called bacanards, a local term that residents have proudly adopted. Among the most notable encounters was a neighbor who defines herself as a mermaid and invited Masferrer to experience the Costa Brava waters in the middle of winter.
“"Take off your shoes and put your feet in the water, you'll see."
The most talked-about moment of the broadcast was when Quim Masferrer decided to swim in the sea, even though the water was only 12 degrees Celsius. The presenter had to swim among small jellyfish, an experience he described as freezing but unique, accompanied by a group of local women who practice daily swimming all year round.
