The Catalan Film Academy announced the nominations on Tuesday, December 16 from the Auditori de La Pedrera, highlighting the excellent cinematic output of the year. Romería, which concludes Simón's family trilogy, is nominated for key categories such as Best Film, Director, and Screenplay.
Following Romería are Sirat, by Oliver Laxe, with twelve nominations, and Sorda, by Eva Libertad, with ten. Furthermore, the documentary Tardes de soledad, by Albert Serra, made history by becoming the most nominated documentary in Gaudí history with six candidacies.

Other notable titles include the historical thriller Frontera, by Judith Colell, and the debut feature Estrany riu, by Jaume Claret Muxart, both receiving eight nominations. The final list includes twenty-nine titles, twenty-five of which are Catalan productions and four European.
The second round of voting opened on Tuesday, December 16 and will remain active until January 26. The 18th Gaudí Awards ceremony will take place on February 8.
