The Palamós Fishing Museum launches a new season of the Mestres i Mestresses dels Fogons cycle this Wednesday, March 4th, featuring a session dedicated to traditional seafood rice dishes.

The event will take place at the Espai del Peix starting at 6:00 PM with free admission. This first session focuses on a staple of local gastronomy, showcasing everything from simple popular recipes to sophisticated techniques using fresh fish from Palamós.
Organized by the Fishing Museum, the program aims to preserve the ethnological heritage of the sea. Through live cooking demonstrations, the initiative seeks to pass down the culinary memory and identity of the Costa Brava region.
Following this week's session, the schedule will continue on April 1st with a focus on fish 'suquet' (stew). The season will wrap up in late April with a workshop on oily fish, covering the most iconic dishes of the Baix Empordà coastline.
