Temporary closure of the Manresa street exit lane in Abrera due to A-2 works

Traffic restrictions will be in effect from January 26 to 30 for the installation of acoustic screens.

The Ministry of Transport will temporarily close the urban core exit lane on Manresa street in Abrera, from Monday, January 26, until Friday, January 30, 2026, to install acoustic screens on the A-2 highway.

The works, carried out by the Ministry of Transport, aim primarily to mitigate the sound and visual impact generated by the A-2 highway on nearby residential areas. The closure will be effective from 8:00 AM on Monday, January 26, until 4:30 PM on Friday, January 30, 2026.
The restriction affects the urban core exit lane, specifically the stretch running from the height of the Mercat Municipal (Municipal Market) to the Pont del Treball (Work Bridge). During this period, only one lane of traffic heading towards the Mercat Municipal d'Abrera will remain operational.
To guarantee vehicle exit, an alternative route has been established through the Polígon Industrial Sant Ermengol (Sant Ermengol Industrial Estate), using Carrer de Martorell. This route will allow re-entry onto Carrer de Manresa before reaching the turn connecting to the Pont del Treball.
In addition to the main closure, the left turn to access Carrer de Manresa from Rambla del Torrentet and Avinguda de Lluís Companys will also be restricted. The new acoustic screens will feature gabion walls incorporating vegetation, a solution designed to improve aesthetics and help reduce temperature and noise levels.
