Fire protection tasks in the Taió neighborhood of Castellví de Rosanes have resumed this October, focusing on opening and reducing trees across approximately 10 hectares.

Maintenance work on fire protection strips in the Taió neighborhood of Castellví de Rosanes has resumed this October. These tasks, which began in May with general maintenance, now focus on opening and reducing tree density, as weather conditions did not allow for their execution before summer.
A team of workers will be on-site for several days to carry out this operation, covering about 10 hectares. In total, 36 hectares of protection strips are being addressed this year, combining maintenance work across all neighborhoods with the opening tasks concentrated in Taió.
The work was awarded to the company Forestal Germans Kachouti SL for an approximate amount of 46,000 euros (VAT included). Part of the funding for the opening tasks in Taió comes from a grant from the Diputació de Barcelona.
