Thirty people have participated in first aid and defibrillator use workshops organized by the Corbera de Llobregat City Council and the Provincial Council of Barcelona to train citizens in emergency situations.

The sessions, held on October 19th at the Casal de les Magnòlies and on November 2nd in the City Council's plenary hall, each had 15 participants. The training was led by an instructor from the Red Cross.
During the workshops, attendees learned how to act in various common emergencies such as wounds, bruises, fractures, burns, consciousness alterations, or cardiac arrest, and the corresponding first aid.
The training also included a practical part where essential maneuvers were practiced, such as the recovery position, acting in case of airway obstruction, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
Through these sessions, the City Council and the Provincial Council of Barcelona aim to provide useful knowledge to citizens for acting more safely and quickly in emergencies.
