At 58, Amadeu Alemany has spent eleven seasons hosting La República Santboiana on 89.4 FM. The station, which transitioned from a pirate radio to a public service 40 years ago, remains a vital part of the Baix Llobregat media landscape.

Alemany is also a prolific writer with nine books published. His latest work, Shoshana, is a 600-page mystery novel published by Luciérnaga (Planeta Group), inspired by his travels to Israel and Holy Land archives.
