BWAW 2026 concludes with over 3,000 attendees and confirms 2027 edition

The DFactory Barcelona hosted the closing of the sixth Barcelona Woman Acceleration Week this March 6th, reaching a milestone of over 3,000 attendees through both physical and digital platforms.

The event, organized by the Consorci de la Zona Franca de Barcelona (CZFB), featured 77 speakers across 15 specialized sessions. Discussions focused on female leadership in high-tech sectors such as aerospace, digital health, and finance.

Academic data from UPC showed that female enrollment in aerospace studies has risen to 22%. Experts emphasized that gender-sensitive urban planning and technological diversity are vital for global competitiveness.
The CZFB has officially confirmed that the seventh edition of BWAW will be held in March 2027.
