The AMBici shared bicycle service has reached 2,000 active users in Castelldefels, making it the most active municipality in the Baix Llobregat region with over 20,000 monthly uses.

Managed by TMB within the Barcelona Metropolitan Area, the service has seen significant growth since its launch in March 2023. By the end of 2025, total active subscriptions rose to 23,809, up from 16,388 the previous year, supported by a fleet of 2,552 electric bikes.
In Castelldefels, the network currently consists of 17 stations and 187 electric bicycles. The most popular hubs are the Rodalies train station and Plaça Colón, which facilitate daily commuting and integration with other public transport modes.
Expansion plans for 2026 include 18 new stations and approximately 200 additional bicycles. The service, which operates until 2 AM daily, continues to promote sustainable mobility in key neighborhoods such as Bellamar and Montemar.
